Play will be managed at all times.
There will be no rough play that could cause inquiry or accident to those attending the setting.
There will be a fire drill at least every four weeks and smoke alarms tested every two weeks (this will be recorded). When the fire alarm (whistle) is blown everyone will leave the setting immediately and assemble at the pre-designated point outside. When outside the register will be taken. Children will not re-enter the building until they are told that it is safe to do so by myself or buy the fire chief in the event of a real emergency.
I hold a current public liability insurance certificate, which is displayed at the entrance of the setting.
I am insured to carry child-minded children in my car; I use appropriate seat belts and car seats.
Your child is your responsibility outside the door of the setting before and after the hours that they attend.
Visual daily risk assessments are carried out - of the setting, car, environment and equipment.
Any action required will be attended to.
Any resources found to be faulty will be removed immediately.
Annual risk assessments will be recorded in writing and will be reviewed on a regular basis. Updated 04/06/2014.
Children will supervised at all times, indoors, outdoors and outings.
I will encourage children to be safe e.g. crossing roads, stranger danger.
Please note. For the safety and protection of your children, my setting is under constant CCTV surveillance.
